Some staff quite miserable (clicking fingers really off putting), breakfasts very very basic. Felt like we were up to mischief sometimes. Quite expensive when we reviewed some other hotels.

The hotel was in a good location. When you get to the train station and walk outside, you can take the "water bus" (#1) to the stop "San Zacarriah." Once you get off the stop you walk to the right a little bit (before the bridge) and walk down a narror corridor to the hotel. The hotel was right by Saint Marc's Square and was convenient. I definately recommend a 24 hr "water bus" ticket. It is the best way to see the whole city.
The bed was the most awful bed I have ever slept in. I think I got maybe 30 minutes of sleep because the bed was so hard. I had a bruise on my hip from laying on it. The blankets were not soft at all and the towels were like drying off with a tablecloth.

I've stayed here before and had a great time, so 100% recommend this hotel. Everything was very comfortable. Terrific service. Fantastic location so close to a nice alley with lots of restaurants, bars, and the airport, train station, and Murano.
